About KMS files

A .KMS file is a Correlate Solutions data file developed by Correlate. It functions as a structured Knowledge Management container that organizes user files, cloud documents, and text notes by creating dynamic shortcuts instead of duplicating the source files.

The primary disadvantage of the .KMS format is its rigid reliance on absolute file paths and proprietary architecture. If you share a .KMS file with a colleague who does not have the desktop client installed, the file is completely unreadable. Even worse, because it only stores shortcuts, the actual linked documents remain on your local drive - resulting in a completely empty, broken file with dead links for the recipient.

To bypass these frustrating limits, users need to extract the structural data or link paths to universal formats like TXT, XML, or PDF. Unfortunately, standard online converters fail to parse this proprietary linkage data.

Convert.Guru analyzes your KMS file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted KMZ, KML, KMA, WSP, SLN, MPH, MAK and NM files.
