About JMM files
The .jmm extension represents three distinct file types, each requiring a different approach.
Gaming Mouse Macro Script (Approx. 40%): Most commonly, this is a proprietary script file used by Jetech or generic OEM gaming mouse drivers. It stores key bindings, delay timings, and automation sequences (macros). These files are typically text-based or XML-based but are locked to the specific mouse software that created them. A .jmm file from a Jetech mouse is generally incompatible with Logitech G Hub or Razer Synapse.
Jabbla Mind Express Document (Approx. 9%): Used by Jabbla Mind Express, this file contains communication boards for AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) users. Crucially, this is often a renamed .ZIP file. If you do not have the Mind Express software, you can often rename the extension from .jmm to zip to access the internal images (JPG, PNG) and sound files (WAV) stored within.
JVC Multimedia Data (Approx. 19%): Found on older JVC Everio camcorders. This is a metadata sidecar file that contains timestamp and cataloging information. It is not the video itself. The actual video is stored in a corresponding MOD or TOD file. Converting the .jmm file is impossible and unnecessary; you should focus on converting the accompanying video file.
