About JMK files
A .JMK file is a proprietary hardware configuration profile used exclusively by Redragon gaming mice. These files store custom user setups, including complex macro scripts, custom button keybinds, DPI (Dots Per Inch) sensitivity stages, polling rates, and RGB lighting effects. Gamers use these files to back up their personalized settings or share powerful macro combinations. However, the .JMK format presents several significant disadvantages. It is a highly proprietary, closed-system format. The internal data structure is entirely undocumented and locked specifically to the hardware controller of the exact mouse model that generated it. A .JMK file exported from one Redragon model will almost never work on a different model, and it is completely incompatible with competing hardware from brands like Razer or Logitech. This limits user freedom and enforces hardware lock-in. Because it is a closed binary format, standard online converters fail to process it into universal formats like XML or JSON. Only the original Redragon Mouse Software can properly read or export the data to the physical mouse hardware. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or extraction of plain text macro names may still be possible.
