About JMK files
A .JMK file is a proprietary configuration profile generated by Redragon mouse software. These files act as a "snapshot" of your gaming mouse's onboard memory, storing critical settings like DPI sensitivity levels, RGB lighting patterns, polling rates, and complex macro key assignments.
Users typically encounter .JMK files when trying to back up their competitive gaming setups or share macro scripts with teammates. The primary constraint is hardware lock-in: a .JMK file created for a Redragon Impact M908 is often binary-incompatible with other models like the M711 Cobra. Furthermore, because these are binary or obfuscated text files, you cannot simply double-click to open them in Notepad or Word. To "convert" or view the contents, you must load the file back into the specific Redragon Software for your mouse model. For archiving or sharing macros without the hardware, users often resort to manual transcription or screenshots, as direct conversion to standard formats like PDF or TXT is not natively supported by the driver.
Convert.Guru analyzes your JMK file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
