About HPGL files

HPGL (Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language) is a vector graphics language and file format developed by Hewlett-Packard for the output of plotters. HPGL files are used for storing vector graphics data, such as line art, curves, circles, polygons, and other graphical elements. HPGL files are typically used for printing technical drawings, such as engineering and architectural drawings, as well as for plotting scientific data. HPGL files are usually stored with the .PLT file extension, but can also be stored with the .HPG extension.
