About GRXML files

A .GRXML file is a Speech Recognition Grammar Specification (SRGS) document written in XML format. It defines the specific words, phrases, and rule patterns that a speech engine (like Nuance Dragon, Microsoft Azure Speech, or Amazon Lex) should listen for in a voice application. While standard XML is excellent for machine parsing, it is often too verbose for human editing and difficult for non-technical stakeholders (like VUI designers) to review. Users frequently convert .GRXML to ABNF (Augmented Backus-Naur Form) to strip away the tag clutter for faster editing, or to PDF and TXT to create readable documentation for client sign-off. Proprietary engines may also require compiling these text-based XML grammars into binary formats for performance.

Convert.Guru analyzes your GRXML file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted NWV, MTI and WML files.
