Extract text from locked gallery images (GLK)

The .GLK file format is primarily used by the Gallery Lock app (developed by Morrison Software) for Android devices. This mobile application secures personal photos by hiding and encrypting them, essentially obfuscating standard image formats like JPG or PNG and saving them as .GLK files. Users typically encounter these locked files when attempting to recover data from an old SD card, after an app crash, or when transferring backup folders directly to a PC.
The major disadvantage of the .GLK format is its closed, proprietary nature. These files are completely inaccessible to standard image viewers, web browsers, or desktop operating systems without the original Android application. Relying on an outdated or third-party mobile app to view your own photographic memories is incredibly frustrating, especially if the original device is broken or the specific vault app is no longer available on the Google Play Store.

This format is exceptionally difficult to open or convert because it often employs proprietary encryption or scrambles the file headers to prevent unauthorized access.
