About DVDPROJ files
The .dvdproj file is an iDVD Project File created by Apple for its discontinued iDVD authoring software. It acts as a container for DVD menus, layout settings, themes, and references to video and audio tracks used to author optical discs. Because Apple officially dropped iDVD in 2011 and removed 32-bit application support in modern macOS, these files are effectively obsolete orphans. They are technically proprietary macOS package directories masquerading as single files. This means standard media players and web browsers cannot open them, and you cannot simply double-click them on a Windows PC. The core disadvantage is that a .dvdproj file is not an actual video file, but a blueprint. Standard online converters fail instantly because they expect a flat video stream, not a complex database of XML references and folder hierarchies packaged into a single entity.
