About DHS files

A .DHS file is a proprietary vector drawing created by HyperSnap, a Windows screen capture utility developed by Hyperionics. These files store a raster screen capture alongside editable vector shapes, such as arrows, callouts, and text boxes. Because .DHS is a closed format, it requires HyperSnap to open and fully edit the native layers. The major disadvantage of this format is its lack of cross-platform compatibility. Standard image viewers or web browsers will not recognize it. To share these screenshots, you must convert the .DHS file to a standard raster format like JPG, PNG, or PDF. Converting to these formats flattens the image, meaning you will lose the ability to edit the individual shapes, but the final image becomes universally accessible. Since .DHS is a closed proprietary format, many standard online converters fail to process it. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible.

Convert.Guru analyzes your DHS file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted ZIP, PKR and RS files.
