About CYO files
The .CYO file format is exclusively used as a Clustify Output File generated by Hot Neuron's Clustify software. Clustify is an e-discovery and document clustering tool that analyzes massive document sets and groups them by conceptual similarity. The resulting .CYO file stores this complex clustering data, including document identifiers, cluster groupings, and keyword relationships. The primary disadvantage of this format is its highly proprietary nature. Files cannot be natively opened by standard spreadsheet tools or web browsers, and they require an active, paid license for Clustify to view or modify. Users typically need to convert .CYO data to universal tabular formats like CSV or JSON to import the clustering results into mainstream legal review platforms such as Relativity. Because .CYO is a closed, proprietary format, standard online converters completely fail to process it. Only the original Clustify software can properly read or export the structured data. Our system can inspect the file and show text or internal content. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible.
