About CCX files

The .CCX file extension is most commonly used for Adobe Creative Cloud extensions. It contains scripts, assets, and metadata required to add new tools to software like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Structurally, the Adobe extension is a standard ZIP archive. A secondary use for .CCX is the CorelDRAW Clipart Exchange format, an older file type utilizing the RIFF structure to store vector graphics for CorelDRAW. The main disadvantage of .CCX files is their strict software dependency. Adobe extensions require the heavy Creative Cloud desktop app to install, making them completely opaque if an error occurs. CorelDRAW clipart files are locked to the Corel ecosystem and cannot be viewed natively in standard web browsers or modern image viewers. Converting or extracting a .CCX file is the best workaround. For Adobe plugins, extracting to ZIP allows you to inspect the source code. For Corel clipart, converting to SVG (for vector editing) or PNG (for web use) is essential.

Convert.Guru analyzes your CCX file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted 56, PVT and XMP files.
