About BPR files

A .BPR file is typically one of two distinct formats, both of which pose significant compatibility challenges for modern users.

  1. Borland C++Builder Project File: Historically, this is an XML-based makefile used by Borland C++Builder (versions 4 through 6). It defines the files, compiler settings, and link options required to build a C++ application.
  1. Informatica Business Process Archive: These files are containers used by Informatica Cloud BPR Designer to export and import business process definitions.

Users also converted DDB, DRL and MUI files.

The BPR Converter Story

The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our BPR converter.
