About 3DMARK-RESULT files
The .3dmark-result file is a proprietary container used by 3DMark (formerly by Futuremark, now UL Solutions) to store the output of computer performance benchmarks. These files contain a comprehensive snapshot of a system's hardware configuration, driver versions, and the raw telemetry data from tests like Time Spy or Fire Strike.
The primary difficulty for users is that opening these files natively requires the specific version of the 3DMark software suite to be installed, which is often a large download (6GB+) and may require a paid license (Advanced Edition) to save or view offline results. Furthermore, older result files may become incompatible with newer software updates, locking you out of your historical data. Sharing these files is also cumbersome, as the recipient faces the same software barriers.
For most users, the goal is to extract the raw data or create a shareable report. Since the .3dmark-result format is technically a renamed ZIP archive, converting it to ZIP allows you to extract the internal XML data files for import into Microsoft Excel. For archiving or sharing proof of an overclocking score without the "black box" constraints, converting the result summary to PDF or a standard image format like PNG is the ideal pragmatic workflow.

The 3DMARK-RESULT Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our 3DMARK-RESULT converter.
