About 350 files
A .350 file generally functions as a proprietary binary file linked to specific hardware. Its primary use is as a motherboard BIOS firmware update file utilized by MSI (AMI BIOS) or as a network device firmware image for the 3Com 3500 series. Additionally, a .350 file can be a Portable Keyboard User File created by the Yamaha PSR-350 electronic keyboard. These files represent bare-metal data. A BIOS .350 contains the fundamental instructions required to boot a computer, while a Yamaha .350 stores custom MIDI styles, user voices, and sequencer recordings. Because both variations are proprietary binary blobs, you cannot simply open them in a standard text editor or media player. Modifying a BIOS file directly will corrupt its checksum and permanently brick your motherboard. Standard online converters fail to process .350 files because they lack the specific hardware context required to interpret the raw hexadecimal data. Users often want to convert a .350 file to extract internal media (like converting Yamaha data to standard MID files) or to extract BIOS microcode into generic ROM or BIN formats. Unfortunately, direct format conversion is rarely possible without the original hardware utilities. This file format is difficult to open or convert because it is a closed, proprietary format designed exclusively for machine reading. Often, only the original hardware or specialized flashing utilities can properly read or export the data. However, convert.guru can still identify the file format, inspect the file's binary structure, and show underlying ASCII text strings (such as version numbers or error messages). Just drag and drop your file to see what it is and convert it if supported.
Convert.Guru analyzes your 350 file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert 350 file to MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, FLV, WEBM, MKV, M4V, 3GP, OGV, ASF or RM, you can use MSI BIOS Flash Tool or similar software from the "Hardware Firmware or Keyboard Data" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert MTS, MOV, RMVB, DIVX, RM, H264, TS, WMV, VOB, MP4, XVID or AVI files to 350, try MSI BIOS Flash Tool or another comparable tool in the "Hardware Firmware or Keyboard Data" category.
The 350 Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our 350 converter.
