About ZXU files

The .ZXU file format stores scuba dive log data formatted according to the DAN DL7 diving standard. It is primarily generated and managed by DiverLog+ and dive computers interacting with the Divers Alert Network ecosystem. This is a niche, purpose-built format that locks your diving history into a specific software ecosystem. You cannot easily open .ZXU files on mobile devices or standard web browsers without the dedicated app. Users often need to migrate their dive profiles, tank pressures, and bottom times to open-source alternatives like Subsurface. The best conversion targets are CSV for spreadsheet analysis in Microsoft Excel or XML and .UDDF for importing into other dive loggers. Because .ZXU files rely on the specific DL7 data structure, standard online converters fail to parse the specialized dive metrics. Just drag and drop your file onto convert.guru to identify the format, view it, and convert it when possible. Even with closed formats, our tool can often identify the underlying structure, inspect the file, and extract raw text or internal embedded content.

Convert.Guru analyzes your ZXU file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted KSS, BEF and RSF files.
