About ZOL files
A .ZOL file typically represents a Medical Device Case File generated by defibrillators and monitors from ZOLL Medical Corporation. These files are critical data containers holding ECG waveforms, CPR feedback metrics, audio recordings, and event logs from emergency incidents. Users commonly struggle with issues because .ZOL files are proprietary binary containers; they cannot be opened in standard viewers like Microsoft Excel or Media Player. To access the data, you must use specific software like RescueNet Code Review to visualize the event and then export it to PDF for medical reports or CSV for statistical analysis.
In a completely different context, a .ZOL file may be a ZoneAlarm Quarantined File. Security software ZoneAlarm renames potentially dangerous email attachments (like EXE or VBS) to .ZOL to prevent accidental execution. In this case, the "conversion" is simply verifying the source is safe and renaming the extension back to its original format.
Convert.Guru analyzes your ZOL file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert ZOL file to INI, CFG, CONF, CONFIG, JSON, XML, YAML, YML, TOML, ENV, PROPERTIES or RC, you can use RescueNet Code Review or similar software from the "Medical Device Case File" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert ZSHRC, CONF, RCFILE, GITCONFIG, RC, PLIST, BASHRC, CONFIG, PROFILE, INI, PREFS or CFG files to ZOL, try RescueNet Code Review or another comparable tool in the "Medical Device Case File" category.
The ZOL Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our ZOL converter.
