The .xtodvd file is an XML-based project document created by VSO ConvertXtoDVD. It stores configuration data for converting various video formats into a DVD-compatible folder structure. The file records file paths to source videos, menu templates, subtitle settings, and chapter markers.
Because it is a project file, a .xtodvd file does not contain actual video or audio data. This is a severe limitation for users hoping to share the file. If you move the .xtodvd file to another computer without moving the original source videos, the project will immediately break.
