The .XTL file format is a proprietary data container originally developed by Pterodon for the 2003 tactical shooter video game Vietcong. These files serve as internal game archives, storing a wide variety of essential assets such as 3D models, level scripts, textures, and audio clips.
Because .XTL is a closed-source format hardcoded for a specific game engine, you cannot open it using standard desktop software, media players, or web browsers.
