A .WSC file typically functions as a game scheme file for Worms Armageddon, storing custom match rules, weapon limits, and turn times. However, the .WSC extension is heavily fragmented. It is also used for raw X-ray spectroscopy data by NSLS and IBTI software, as a ROM file for the WonderSwan Color handheld console, and as a Windows Script Component by Microsoft. This fragmentation creates major challenges. If you do not know the origin of the file, it is very difficult to open. Standard text editors will display garbled binary data for game schemes, ROMs, and X-ray data. Furthermore, Windows Script Components can execute malicious code on your machine.
