The .WHS file format is primarily used as a game save file for the action role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance and its sequel, developed by Warhorse Studios. These files contain a player's exact progress, inventory, quest logs, and world state. A secondary use for the .WHS extension is as a CAD reinforcement steel schedule file generated by Nemetschek Allplan.
As game saves or proprietary CAD data, these files are highly specialized and often difficult to manage outside their native ecosystems. Game saves are closed binaries tied strictly to the game engine.
