The .WFS extension is primarily associated with Samsung Watch Face Studio, a design tool used to create custom watch faces for Wear OS. These files serve as the project source containers, storing all the layers, logic, bitmaps, and XML configurations required to build a watch face.
A major point of friction for users is that a .WFS file is not directly installable on a smartwatch. Unlike an APK or AAB file, the .WFS is strictly a project file that must be compiled using Watch Face Studio.
