The .vsw file is a workspace configuration file used by Microsoft Visio. It saves the specific layout of your toolbars, stencils, and document windows during a work session. When you reopen the .vsw file, Visio restores your exact screen setup so you can resume work immediately.
Users often encounter severe problems with .vsw files because they mistake them for actual diagram files. A .vsw file does not contain the vector graphics, flowcharts, or shapes.
