Extract text from Vehicle configurations (VEH)
To convert VEH Vehicle configs to another format, you need Transoft AutoTURN or other Data software.

A .VEH file acts as a vehicle definition or swept path analysis file, depending on its origin. In civil engineering, AutoTURN and PTV Vissim use .VEH files formatted in JSON to define vehicle dimensions, axles, and turning radiuses for swept path analysis on roadways. In the gaming world, racing simulators powered by the gMotor2 engine - such as rFactor, Automobilista, and Live for Speed - use .VEH files as master configuration scripts. These plain-text files link 3D mesh skins, physics engines, and sound packs to a specific drivable car model.
The main disadvantage of .VEH files is software lock-in and extension ambiguity. Opening an engineering swept path file normally requires an expensive CAD plug-in license just to read basic length and width data.
