To convert other file formats to the "Engineering & Maritime Data" file type, you need software like Keysight VEE Pro or a similar tool.
The .VEE file extension serves two entirely different but equally complex professional purposes. Primarily, it is a Visual Engineering Environment file used by Keysight VEE Pro. This graphical programming software creates applications for electronic test, measurement, and data analysis. Alternatively, .VEE files are generated by maritime Voyage Data Recorders (VDR) manufactured by companies like AMI Marine and Veinland, acting as a ship's "black box" to store critical sensor, radar, and audio telemetry.
Both versions of the .VEE format present severe disadvantages for casual users. They are strictly proprietary. Keysight files require an expensive software license to open, compile, or execute. VDR files are even more restrictive, employing specialized compression and tamper-evident encoding to ensure legal integrity after a maritime incident. Standard web browsers and regular file viewers cannot open these files.
Because they are closed, proprietary formats, standard online converters fail to process them. You cannot simply convert a .VEE to a standard PDF or CSV without the original application decoding the binary structures first.
