About TTKGP files

A .ttkgp file is a proprietary project file used to store map configurations, layer definitions, and rendering settings for Geographic information systems (GIS). These files are primarily created and managed by TatukGIS Editor. The main disadvantage of the .ttkgp format is extreme vendor lock-in. It requires specialized software to open and cannot be viewed in standard web browsers. Furthermore, .ttkgp files typically do not contain the raw geographic data. They merely store absolute or relative file paths to local spatial databases or raster images. If you share a .ttkgp file without the accompanying data assets, the recipient will only see broken links. You cannot directly convert a project settings file into a universal map data format. The best workflow is to open the file in the original software and export the individual data layers to standard targets like SHP (Shapefile), GEOJSON, or KML. Because .ttkgp is a closed, proprietary format, standard online converters fail to process it. Only the original software can properly render the map data and export it.
