About TS2 files
A .ts2 file is most commonly a proprietary Image Editing Project created by Topaz Labs Topaz Studio 2. Unlike standard images (like JPG or PNG), this file contains raw layer data, non-destructive AI adjustments, masks, and filter settings that only the Topaz software can interpret. You cannot view these files in web browsers or open them in editors like Adobe Photoshop without first exporting them. Users typically encounter friction because Topaz Studio 2 is a legacy product; if you no longer have the software installed, your edits are effectively locked inside the file.
Secondary Use Case: A .ts2 file may also be a segmented video file (MPEG-2 Transport Stream) from PVRs (like Topfield) or HD camcorders. When a recording exceeds file system limits (e.g., 4GB on FAT32), the device splits the video into parts: .ts, .ts1, .ts2. These require merging or a player like VLC Media Player to view correctly.
Convert.Guru analyzes your TS2 file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert TS2 file to MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, FLV, WEBM, MKV, M4V, 3GP, OGV, ASF or RM, you can use Topaz Studio 2 or similar software from the "Image Editing Project File" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
