Extract text from Firmware and header files (TLI)
To convert TLI Firmware files to another format, you need ALI Firmware Upgrader or other System software.
To convert other file formats to the "Firmware Update File" file type, you need software like ALI Firmware Upgrader or a similar tool.
A .tli file most commonly functions as a Set-Top Box Firmware Update used by satellite receivers containing ALI Corporation chipsets. Alternatively, in programming, it serves as a Typelib Generated C/C++ Inline File, which is automatically created by Microsoft Visual C++ when a COM type library is imported.
Opening the firmware variant of the .tli file on a computer is useless, as it contains proprietary binary data. The file is strictly designed to be loaded onto a USB drive and flashed directly to a satellite receiver. Modifying or attempting to convert this binary file will corrupt the firmware, which carries a high risk of permanently bricking your hardware. The developer version of the .tli file contains standard text-based C++ wrapper functions. While you can open it in Notepad++, editing it manually is pointless because the compiler overwrites it during the next build.

The firmware version is a closed, proprietary hardware blob, and the developer version is auto-generated code, neither of which translate to standard documents or images.
