Convert SXSCH to another file type
To convert SXSCH schematics to another format, you need SIMetrix/SIMPLIS or other Cad software.
Convert a file to SXSCH
To convert other file formats to the "Electronic Circuit Schematic" file type, you need software like SIMetrix/SIMPLIS or a similar tool.
About SXSCH files
The .sxsch file extension is a proprietary electronic circuit schematic file format. It is used by the SIMetrix/SIMPLIS software suite to store visual representations of electronic circuits, component symbols, and simulation parameters. The main disadvantage of the .sxsch format is its proprietary nature. You cannot open these files natively in web browsers, standard image viewers, or regular document editors. Viewing or editing the raw schematic requires installing the desktop SIMetrix software. This creates friction when you need to share designs with clients, manufacturers, or team members who use different Electronic Design Automation tools like LTspice. To solve this problem, users must convert .sxsch files. For visual sharing and documentation, convert to PDF, PNG, or SVG. This ensures anyone can view the circuit diagram, although the ability to run simulations will be lost. For cross-platform simulation work, you must convert the schematic to a standard SPICE netlist format like CIR.
Convert.Guru analyzes your SXSCH file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert SXSCH file to DWG, DXF, DGN, RVT, RFA, SKP, 3DM, STEP, IGES, SAT, X_T or X_B, you can use SIMetrix/SIMPLIS or similar software from the "Circuit Simulation Schematic" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert SLDASM, DGN, PRT, IAM, X_B, CATPRODUCT, SLDPRT, RVT, ASM, DWG, CATPART or DXF files to SXSCH, try SIMetrix/SIMPLIS or another comparable tool in the "Circuit Simulation Schematic" category.
The SXSCH Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our SXSCH converter.
