Extract text from SUF files

To convert other file formats to the "Installer Script" file type, you need software like Setup Factory or a similar tool.
The .suf extension is primarily associated with Setup Factory, a software installation builder by Indigo Rose. Specifically, it serves as a Setup Factory Update File, containing XML-based instructions used to patch or update existing software applications. Because these files function as configuration scripts rather than standalone executables, users cannot simply double-click to "run" them. This creates friction for developers and system administrators who need to audit the update logic, view file paths, or document the patch process without launching the full Setup Factory IDE.
To resolve this, users often convert .suf files to TXT or XML to edit the code in a lightweight text editor, or to PDF for archiving and compliance documentation. A secondary, less common use (approx. 9%) is as a firmware interface file for ALI Corp set-top box chipsets, used to store UI graphics.
