Extract text from Jacquard or TableLook files (STT)

The .STT file format is highly fragmented, most commonly functioning as a proprietary Textile Jacquard weaving design file used by Wonder Weaves CAD, or an SPSS TableLook style template used by IBM SPSS Statistics. Other systems generate .STT files for bank closing balance summaries (Punjab National Bank), thermal device settings (Pulsar), ESE database states, and PlayStation emulator save states.
Because these files are specific to niche industrial software or exact versions of statistical tools, they are extremely difficult to share. A Wonder Weaves .STT file is a closed, proprietary CAD format that cannot be opened natively on Windows or Mac. An SPSS TableLook .STT file is formatted in XML, but without SPSS installed, applying the complex styling to a dataset is impossible. Users often need to convert weaving designs to standard image formats like JPG or PNG for client approval, or export applied SPSS tables to PDF or XLSX for distribution.
