Extract text from ECU tuning maps (PRJX)

To convert other file formats to the "ECU Configuration File" file type, you need software like aRacer SpeedTek or a similar tool.
The .PRJX file extension is primarily used to store Motorcycle ECU tuning maps for aftermarket engine control units, specifically those managed by aRacer SpeedTek or BRT Juken software. Secondarily, it functions as a project container for CODESYS PLC development (often compressed as GZIP) or SharpDevelop C# coding environments (structured as XML), as well as statistical data files in UN ECLAC's Redatam.
Because .PRJX serves highly niche applications, it is notoriously rigid and difficult to open without the exact software version that created it. The proprietary ECU files lock you into specific hardware vendors. If you try to open an ECU .PRJX file without the dedicated tuning software, you cannot view the fuel injection or ignition timing tables. Similarly, for industrial developers, a CODESYS .PRJX file is useless if a client or colleague lacks the heavy IDE.
Converting a .PRJX file depends entirely on its internal structure and your goals. For XML-based .PRJX files (like Redatam or SharpDevelop), converting to TXT or CSV allows you to read the raw data in any text editor or spreadsheet. For ECU tuning maps, you may want to convert the numerical data to CSV to analyze fuel curves in Microsoft Excel or export to PDF to share a static printout with a mechanic.
