About PQF files

.PQF files primarily serve two distinct purposes: they are either PictureQuest Show on the Go portable slideshow presentations or A. Eberle PQ-Box power quality measurement data files. The presentation variant utilizes a Microsoft Compound internal structure, while the measurement variant stores raw electrical grid data such as voltage, current, and harmonics recorded by A. Eberle power analyzers. Both variations of the .PQF format suffer from severe proprietary lock-in. The PictureQuest software is obsolete, making the slideshows inaccessible on modern systems without complex legacy emulation. Similarly, the power quality data files require a specialized, expensive license for WinPQ software to visualize the metrics. This creates a bottleneck when you need to share critical grid analysis with stakeholders or clients who cannot open the proprietary file. To bypass these limitations, users typically need to convert these files to PDF for reports, CSV for raw data analysis, or PPTX for modern presentations. However, standard online converters fail to process .PQF files because they lack the specific parsing libraries for these closed formats. This file format is difficult to open or convert. Emphasize that often only the original software can properly read or export the data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format - such as the Microsoft Compound structure - viewing or conversion may still be possible.

Convert.Guru analyzes your PQF file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted SHW, BAI, EXF and PLR files.
