The .OWM file extension is an OutWit XML Mashup File utilized primarily by OutWit Hub, a specialized web data extraction and scraping tool. These files store automated macros, scraping rules, and structural data required to extract information from websites.
The main disadvantage of the .OWM format is its highly specific, proprietary nature. While it is structured as an XML document, the tags and extraction logic are unique to the OutWit ecosystem. You cannot natively open or execute this file in standard web browsers or generic spreadsheet software.
