To convert other file formats to the "Installer Script" file type, you need software like NSIS or a similar tool.

About NSIS files

The .nsis file is a developer script created for the Nullsoft Scriptable Install System. It contains the plain text source code, logic, registry keys, and file paths required to build a Windows software installer. You can view or edit these scripts using Notepad++ or any standard code editor. The primary disadvantage of the .nsis format is that it is not a functional installer on its own; it is strictly source code. Without the NSIS compiler installed on your system, the file cannot be executed. Furthermore, many enterprise email clients and security firewalls immediately block script extensions like .nsis because they pose potential security risks. To share the script safely with colleagues or bypass email filters, convert it to TXT or MD. For long-term code documentation, convert it to PDF. If your goal is to deploy the software, the script must be compiled into an EXE file. Drop your file here to view and convert it securely right in your browser.

Convert.Guru analyzes your NSIS file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted EXE, UCN, DWC and L3G files.
