About LLC files
The .LLC file extension is exclusively associated with LosslessCut, a popular open-source video editor designed for trimming media without re-encoding. Technically, this file is a JSON5 text document that stores project metadata - specifically the cut points, segment timestamps, and labeled tracks - rather than the actual video or audio data itself. A common difficulty for users is attempting to play an .LLC file in media players like VLC or uploading it to YouTube, which fails because the file is only a few kilobytes in size and contains no media streams. To "convert" an .LLC file to a playable format like MP4 or MKV, you must open the original video alongside this project file in LosslessCut and execute the export function. For advanced workflows, the internal JSON data can be converted to EDL (Edit Decision List), CSV, or Final Cut Pro XML for import into professional non-linear editors (NLEs) like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Convert.Guru analyzes your LLC file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert LLC file to CSV, JSON, XML, YAML, YML, TOML, INI, CFG, CONF, DAT, DB or SQL, you can use LosslessCut or similar software from the "LosslessCut Project File" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert DBF, XML, SQLITE, XLSX, SQL, TSV, ACCDB, YAML, MDB, CSV, ODS or JSON files to LLC, try LosslessCut or another comparable tool in the "LosslessCut Project File" category.
The LLC Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our LLC converter.
