The .LEN extension primarily refers to a Flexographic Plate Image, a specialized high-resolution bitmap format generated by Esko RIP software (like Imaging Engine or FlexRip). These files are the industry standard for creating flexographic printing plates used in packaging.
Because .LEN files are designed for industrial laser engravers (CDI), they are often 1-bit bitmaps with massive resolutions (up to 4000 dpi) and proprietary compression.
