The .JFX file extension usually represents an Internet fax image file created by services owned by j2 Global Communications (such as eFax). These files contain fax pages encoded internally as standard TIFF images but trapped inside a closed, proprietary format wrapper. Alternatively, .JFX files are JForex trading strategy files. These are Java-based scripts used within the Dukascopy platform to automate foreign exchange trading. Finally, some .JFX files contain raw binary Spectrophotometer measurement data generated by JASCO scientific instruments.
