To convert other file formats to the "E-Learning Course File" file type, you need software like iSpring Suite or a similar tool.
About ISH files
The .ish file format is primarily used as a proprietary e-learning course lesson or video tutorial, developed by iSpring Solutions or Hoven iShiksha. Less frequently, it functions as an obsolete ISH Compressed Archive format.
The major disadvantage of the .ish format is its proprietary lock-in. You cannot open an .ish file natively in web browsers, smartphones, or standard media players like VLC. Viewing or editing the contents typically requires a costly subscription to the original authoring software. This makes sharing course materials highly impractical.
To overcome these limitations, conversion is essential. For video playback, convert .ish to MP4. For web deployment and LMS integration, convert to .HTML5. If you need to review the text and slides, convert to PDF. If you are handling the rare ISH archive variant, convert it to ZIP or 7Z to extract the data. Drag and drop your file to analyze and convert it - free, online, and without installing software.
Use Convert.Guru to open and convert your ISH file.
If you want to convert ISH file to ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, LZMA, CAB, ACE, ARJ or LHA, you can use iSpring Suite or similar software from the "E-learning Course Lesson Storage" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….

The ISH Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our ISH converter.
