A .hhi file is a proprietary The Sims 4 Household Data File created by Electronic Arts. It is stored in the game's local Tray folder and contains the attributes, relationships, and structural data of a specific Sim household saved to the player's library. These files are typically managed directly by the The Sims 4 engine, though modders frequently use community tools like Sims 4 Tray Importer to view and export the data.
This file format is heavily restricted, completely undocumented, and closed. It is not supported by web browsers, text editors, or standard image viewers. Because it contains proprietary serialized binary game data rather than standard document or media structures, standard online converters will fail to process it. Direct conversion to readable code formats like JSON or XML requires highly specific community-built parsers.
