The .GD3 file extension is primarily associated with GenoPro, a specialized software used for drawing family trees and detailed genograms. While powerful for creation, the .GD3 format poses significant accessibility challenges. It is a proprietary format that requires the specific Windows-based GenoPro application to view or edit.
