Extract text from FVP files

To convert other file formats to the "Model & Texture Archive" file type, you need software like VRoid Studio or a similar tool.
The .FVP file extension is primarily associated with VRoid Studio, a character maker for 3D avatars developed by Pixiv. These files are often referred to as VRoid Face Prints or 3D printable model packages. Internally, an FVP file is typically a ZIP archive containing texture images (often PNG), 3D mesh data, and configuration parameters required to render the character's face or specific attributes.
The main challenge users face is that .FVP is a proprietary container. While VRoid Studio reads them natively, you cannot open them directly in image editors like Adobe Photoshop or generic 3D slicers for printing. Users often need to access the raw texture files for editing or convert the 3D data into standard formats like OBJ or STL for use in Blender or 3D printing software.
For a smooth workflow, the most practical approach is to treat the file as an archive. Converting or extracting an .FVP file reveals its components - allowing you to save textures as standard WebP or JPG images and geometry as universal 3D formats. Additionally, a small percentage of FVP files are batch preset files used by File Viewer Plus, which save conversion configurations and are not compatible with 3D workflows.
