About FVP files

The .FVP file is primarily a VRoid 3D printable model created by Pixiv VRoid Studio. This software allows users to design anime-style 3D avatars for virtual reality and gaming. A secondary use for the .FVP extension is as a File Viewer Plus Batch Presets File developed by Sharpened Productions. The main disadvantage of the .FVP format is its proprietary nature. It requires a specific software ecosystem to open or edit. You cannot natively view an .FVP file in web browsers or generic 3D viewers. This creates friction when sharing avatar models with 3D printing services or other designers. To resolve these limitations, you should convert the .FVP file to standard 3D formats like OBJ, STL, or VRM. Converting to STL is ideal for 3D printing, while VRM or OBJ preserves the structural mesh for use in Blender. This file format is difficult to open or convert because it is a closed format.
