Convert FOC to another file type
To convert FOC Data files to another format, you need LaserDiagnosticsSoftware or other Data software.
Convert a file to FOC
To convert other file formats to the "Diagnostic Sensor Data" file type, you need software like LaserDiagnosticsSoftware or a similar tool.
About FOC files
A .foc file primarily functions as a laser beam diagnostic data file created by tools like Primes LaserDiagnosticsSoftware. These files store raw sensor measurements, power density distributions, and high-resolution beam profile images used to calibrate industrial lasers. Alternatively, a .foc file may be an embedded system font file associated with ALi Corporation hardware, often edited using High-Logic FontCreator.
The .foc format is highly proprietary and closed. You cannot open laser diagnostic data in standard spreadsheet software without first exporting it from the original manufacturer's tools. These files are functionally useless for sharing with clients or colleagues who do not possess a costly license for the laser analysis software. Similarly, embedded font .foc files cannot be installed natively on modern operating systems like Windows or macOS without specialized conversion.
To make the data readable, you need to convert diagnostic .foc files to CSV for raw data analysis, or PDF and PNG for reporting. Embedded fonts should be converted to standard web and desktop formats like TTF or OTF.
This file format is exceptionally difficult to open or convert online because the data structure lacks public documentation. Often, only the original software can properly read or export the data. However, convert.guru can still identify the file format, inspect the file, and show text or internal content. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible. Just drag and drop your file to see what it is and convert it if supported.
Convert.Guru analyzes your FOC file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert FOC file to DB, SQLITE, SQLITE3, MDB, ACCDB, DBF, ODB, FDB, GDB, MYD, FRM or SQL, you can use LaserDiagnosticsSoftware or similar software from the "Laser Beam Diagnostic Data" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert NDF, SQLITE3, BAK, RDB, SQL, DB4, MDF, MDB, LDF, DB, DB3 or SQLITE files to FOC, try LaserDiagnosticsSoftware or another comparable tool in the "Laser Beam Diagnostic Data" category.
The FOC Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our FOC converter.
