About FLK files

A .FLK file primarily stores portable appliance test (PAT) results generated by electrical testing equipment like the Fluke 6500 PAT Tester or the Megger Multitest 6500. It may also serve as a database lock file for AccountEdge or a folder encryption file for Folder Lock. The main disadvantage of .FLK files is their proprietary, closed nature. Because they are raw binary data dumps from specialized testing hardware, standard web browsers, text editors, or generic spreadsheet tools cannot interpret them out of the box. Users often find themselves frustrated when they need to share electrical compliance reports with clients or auditors who do not own the expensive proprietary software. Lock files, by design, are intentionally inaccessible to prevent concurrent database edits or unauthorized access. To share PAT results, you typically need to convert the .FLK file to .CSV, .XLSX, or .PDF using the original manufacturer's reporting software. Standard online converters fail to process these files because only the original hardware companion software contains the proprietary logic to parse the binary measurement data.

Convert.Guru analyzes your FLK file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted H2W, TMS and PTS files.
