About EAC files

The .EAC file format is primarily used for two completely different purposes: as a proprietary anti-cheat system file by Easy Anti-Cheat (owned by Epic Games) or as an electrical calculation project file by Trace Software elec calc. The Easy Anti-Cheat variant is a closed system file used to monitor game integrity and prevent hacking in multiplayer games. Users often try to open these to troubleshoot game crashes, but they are not human-readable and lack any standard document structure. The elec calc variant stores complex electrical wiring and load calculation data. These project files are a major headache to share because they require the recipient to have an expensive software license to open them natively. Standard online converters fail to process them because the internal schema is completely proprietary and closed. For the electrical projects, users ideally want to convert them to PDF or DWG to share with contractors, but this is incredibly difficult outside the native software. This file format is notoriously difficult to open or convert because often only the original software can properly read or export the data. Because the electrical calculation projects use an underlying GZ (GZIP) compression structure, our analysis detects this embedded format.

Convert.Guru analyzes your EAC file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted EAC3, APE, MKV, BIN, PLX, ELF and AAC files.
