About DROP files

A .drop file is a proprietary data backup archive created by the Drop: Injection Planner app for iOS. It stores offline user health data, specifically medication schedules, dose tracking, discomfort tags, and visual injection site histories for conditions requiring self-injection therapies. This file is built to be opened natively by the app on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. It serves as a secure, offline method to transfer data between devices without relying on cloud accounts. Because .drop is an offline, proprietary format, it presents significant limitations if you switch to Android or lose access to your iOS device. The health data is locked inside the archive. Standard document viewers or spreadsheet tools cannot parse this file to retrieve your injection history, making it incredibly frustrating when you need to share vital logs with a doctor or export your data. It is highly recommended to convert the data locked within the .drop file into universal formats like CSV for spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel, JSON for raw data access, or PDF for printable medical records. While visual injection map graphics might be lost during conversion, the core chronological log data (date, time, dose, site) will remain intact. This file format is exceptionally difficult to open or convert because it is a closed database dump specific to a single iOS app. Standard online converters fail to process it because they lack the specific parsing logic. Often, only the original software can properly read or export the data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible.

Convert.Guru analyzes your DROP file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted PLIST, CC and MG files.
