The massive fragmentation of the .DPC format is its biggest disadvantage. Without knowing the origin, your operating system has no idea how to handle it. Asobo .DPC files are proprietary archives that lock assets away from standard 3D editors and require specialized community modding tools (like the APT DPC Tool) to unpack. Serif DrawPlus files are entirely obsolete, meaning modern software like Adobe Illustrator cannot open them directly.
