Extract text from DLOG files

A .DLOG file is primarily a Data Log generated by specialized hardware or software, most notably Keysight (formerly Agilent) power analyzers and Crestron control systems. While the extension simply implies "Data Log," the internal structure varies significantly depending on the source.
For Keysight N6700 and E36000 series devices, these files often contain XML-formatted configuration settings or exported power measurements. Similarly, Crestron 3-Series processors use this extension for debug logs (specifically GS3 severe logs).
A major limitation for users is that .DLOG is not natively associated with standard office tools. You cannot simply double-click to open it in Microsoft Excel or a web browser, even though the content is often just plain text or structured XML. Proprietary software like Keysight BenchVue is required to view the data as intended (charts/graphs), which can be overkill for quick analysis. Additionally, sharing a .DLOG file with a colleague who lacks this specific engineering software often results in confusion.
