About DA files
The .da file extension is a highly fragmented format primarily used as a generic data container by specialized software. Depending on the source, it can hold epigenetic clock data from Illumina methylation arrays, reinforcement steel schedules for Nemetschek Allplan, Bayesian network knowledge bases from Analytica, or legacy audio streams from early Sony PlayStation games. This fragmentation makes the .da format incredibly frustrating to manage. It is entirely proprietary and lacks a universal standard. Files can exceed 100MB and are typically useless outside their native environment. Furthermore, the specialized software required to open them often demands expensive subscriptions or is completely obsolete. Because .da is just a generic extension for raw data, standard online converters fail to process it. Usually, only the original software can properly read or export the data. However, there is a realistic workaround. You should attempt to extract the data into standard formats. For example, PlayStation audio files are often disguised RIFF containers that can be extracted to WAV or MP3. CAD schedules should be exported to CSV or PDF using the native software.
