About D32 files

A .d32 file usually falls into one of three distinct and incompatible categories, causing significant confusion for users trying to open them.

Most commonly, it is a Vehicle Data Log generated by Innovate Motorsports hardware, specifically the LM-2 Air/Fuel Ratio meter. These are binary files storing engine telemetry (RPM, O2 sensor readings) that are unreadable in standard text editors. To analyze this data, users must typically rely on the proprietary LogWorks software to export the session to a usable CSV or XLS for Excel.

Alternatively, in Portugal, a .d32 file is an Electronic Application Form used by the Balcão 2020 platform for EU funding requests. These are actually ZIP compressed archives containing XML data. Users often struggle to view these outside the official submission software; a quick workaround is renaming the extension to ZIP to access the internal documents.

Lastly, in older Windows environments, it may be a legacy 32-bit Device Driver, which should generally be left alone to ensure system stability.

Convert.Guru analyzes your D32 file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted QMD, LIZ and OK files.
