The .BTH extension serves several highly specific, proprietary purposes across completely different industries. It is most commonly associated with Trelleborg OPTIMOOR, where it functions as a ship berth layout data file used in marine engineering. It is also used as a Bluetooth thumbnail image file to preview media transfers. Additionally, 3D designers encounter .BTH as an ArtiCAD bathroom CAD design file or a CLO 3D garment buttonhole setting file.
Because these formats span marine engineering, interior design, 3D fashion, and local wireless protocols, the .BTH format suffers from extreme fragmentation. These are primarily proprietary formats. If you have an ArtiCAD file, you cannot open it in standard CAD software without an active, expensive license. Similarly, CLO 3D files are strictly bound to their parent software.
