About BSZ files

A .BSZ file is a customized interface skin designed for BS.Player, a multimedia player for Windows created by Webteh. While these files allow users to personalize the look and feel of the player - changing buttons, colors, and layout - they act as a proprietary container that standard image viewers cannot open.

Technically, a .BSZ file is simply a ZIP archive with a different extension. It contains a collection of bitmap images (usually BMP or PNG) and a text-based configuration file (often named skin.ini or Main.xml) that defines how the interface elements behave.

Common Friction Points:
Users often download these files expecting an installer or a video file, only to find their system doesn't recognize the format. Because the extension is specific to BS.Player, double-clicking it on a computer without the software installed results in an "Open With" error. Furthermore, graphic designers looking to recover the art assets inside cannot easily edit the file without unpacking it first.

Best Conversion Targets:

Convert.Guru analyzes your BSZ file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted SKN, KWC and OBSKIN files.
